New animals waiting for adoption

In desperate need of Purina Puppy Chow, Purina Kitten Chow and Kitty Litter of any kind.

 Rescue Friendly.

 We need all the help we can get, but there are some guidelines that are a must:

 1) We are asking for copies of your 501-C non-profit license for our records and a copy of your adoption policies.
 2) If any additional shots are needed, we are asking for that money in advance and we will do what you require prior to transport.
 3)Rescue groups are required to pay our adoption fee. ~ cats is $80 and dogs is $90 which reimburses us for spay, rabies, DHLPP, wormer, flea bath, and earmite treatment.
4) We will not hold an animal for a Rescue. If you want the animal and it gets adopted locally before transport can be arranged, we will adopt the animal out. We apologize but, this opens up more room for us.
 

Our goals:

• Solicit, accept and receive contributions, donations, gifts, assignments, bequests, legacies, deeds or any other form of transfer of property in order to provide a safe haven for unwanted dogs and cats until a permanent and loving home is found.

• Educate the public concerning sterilization programs

• Correct the inhumane conditions in circuses, pet stores, kennels and transportation

• Assist as necessary or monitor the operation of the county animal shelter

• Educate the public to develop humane attitudes toward animals

• Protect endangered wildlife

• Establish and manage an animal shelter
  
   

We are a "No-Kill" Animal Shelter located on Saltwell Road, Shinnston, WV, that operates strictly off of donations and contributions from our community. All of our fundraisers benefit the homeless and unwanted animals in our loving care. Once an animal is housed in our shelter, we gently erase all "bad memories" and get them ready for a loving home. We also provide a Spay/Neuter program for Harrison and surrounding counties, including Doddridge, Taylor, Lewis, Marion, Monongalia and Barbour Counties to assist in the expense of having an animal fixed.
